JDSU Distributed Network Analyzer
Testing today’s complex network infrastructures can be a daunting task. The use of distributed configurations a wide and dynamic range of network protocols, and emerging triple play services all produce significant challenges.
One of the core benefits of the DNA protocol analyzer platform is the combination of advanced and powerful network troubleshooting, based on the rich heritage of protocol analysis tools such as the original HP Internet advisor. With a single platform users can take advantage of several types of technology testing from traditional LAN/WAN network infrastructure (Network Analyzer Software), to complex 2G, 2.5G and 3.5 mobile networks (Signaling Analyzer Software) through to advanced voice, video and data testing for VoIP, IPTV and VoD (Triple Play Analyzer Software).
The DNA platform consists of portable and distributed solutions: DNA, DNA MX and DNA PRO. A software only version that runs off a laptop PC is also available that can significantly assist in the complex testing of voice, video and data networks.
The Distributed Network Analyzer range of products offer:
- Real-time Data, Voice and Video monitoring, analysis, and QoE measurements
- Per call, per stream, MoS, MDI, jitter, loss and latency measurements
- Test Anywhere – Onsite, remote attended, remote unattended and distributed operation
- 100% data capture at full line rate using the industry’s most advanced hardware capture platform
- Expert analysis
The Network Analyzer is a software application
Ships with our Distributed Network Analyzer Probes for protocol analysis and troubleshooting of LANs, WANs and ATM networks. Your challenge is to quickly identify and resolve network communication problems. The JDSU Network Analyzer software provides local, distributed and remote protocol test for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, network baselining, and performance analysis. Analyze network traffic in real time over multiple transport, signaling, and application technologies. Full 7-layer troubleshooting solution provides network statistics, decodes, expert analysis, data filtering, protocol vitals, connection stats, extensive voice over IP analysis and much more. Decrease operational costs and solve problems more quickly by testing any technology, over any interface, from anywhere, by anyone
J6900A-001 Triple play Analyzer Software
Full Product Specification here
The J6900A-001 is the base software of the Triple Play Analyzer. This application connects to local or remote DNAs and/or to the local NDIS interface of your PC/laptop. The Triple Play Analyzer software allows you to conduct real-time analysis of video and voice streams, as well as the performance of your data network in general. With the optional licenses in place, the analyzer breaks down the traffic and enables you to drill down to specific voice, data, or video service for further analysis and troubleshooting. It also supports 500+ protocol decodes such as IGMP, RTSP, SIP, HTTP, MPEG-2 TS and PES, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, VLAN that facilitate root cause identification on top of impairment detection.
JDSU J7830A Signaling Analyzer (SART)
Full Signaling Analyzer Family Product Specification here
The SART a high-performance solution for 2, 2.5, 3G and 4G system verification, troubleshooting, and RAN optimization. Its intelligent call trace-centric approach enables distributed call trace, performance measurements, and drill-down problem isolation for calls on LTE, UMTS, GSM, and CDMA RANs, as well as the mobile core, IMS, PSTN and Internet.
The Signaling Analyzer solution allows complete testing of network and individual call performance across mobile networks which simplifies the resolution of the most complex interoperability problems in telephony.
JDSU's Signaling Analyzer provides network equipment manufacturers distributed testing and analysis that maximizes the effectiveness of engineers who develop, plan, install, optimise, and troubleshoot complex mobile networks. JDSU's Signaling Analyzer helps services providers realise Return On Investment of your network equipment even faster. With the use of system verification, tactical troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimisation, you can ensure success in the operation of complex mobile networks.
SART Benefits:
Faster 3G deployment
-
Graphical call visualisation engine for rapid troubleshooting and problem isolation.
-
Graphical statistics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) designed to run statistics and visualise them graphically for a variety of information elements, focused on higher layer protocols
-
Support of UMTS, HSDPA, GERAN, UTRAN, IP UTRAN, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, CDMAOne, CDMA2000, WiMAX, IMS, VoIP, SS7, vendor variants, etc.
HSDPA support
-
3GPP R5 high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) software provides full support for analysis including call trace, statistics, decodes and reassembly of supported release 5 protocols and radio channels including HS-DSCH.
Lower cost of ownership
-
Multi-user functionality enables high-performance multi-client analysis by several clients in a single solution. All clients have simultaneous yet fully independent access to measurements flowing through the same hardware platform without impacting or limiting performance of the overall system.
-
Multi-technology -- the ability to trace calls in IMS, SS7, SS7/IP, 2G, 2.5G and 3G mobile networks, which simplifies resolution of the most complex interoperability problems in telephony.
Leverage investment
-
Running on the Agilent DNA, DNA PRO, DNA MX and DNA HD platforms to leverage the same hardware used for data analysis, which enables 7 layer analysis with the same test tool.
